You'll probably need to have a CIAO environment active. On my  
installation, ds9.sl is found in $ASCDS_INSTALL/share/slsh/local- 
packages/ds9.sl. If you'd rather avoid CIAO, you can install the  
package yourself from http://space.mit.edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/cxc/software/slang/modules/ 
xpa/, and use the ISIS set_ISIS_LOAD_PATH and SET_ISIS_MODULE_PATH  
functions to the ISIS about them. Be careful about versions. ISIS  
1.3.0 is not the latest version, and a new slxpa package might not  
dance well with it.
