Both work the same as when the fit statistic is set to
"chisqr".

Cash (1979 ApJ, 228, 939) claims that, according to Wilks
theorem (Wilks 1938, 1963), \Delta C is chi-square distributed
so the usual chi-square technique for generating confidence
intervals may be used.

The confidence interval definition hasn't changed.
