Simulations

The LSF's were generated using MARX v2.2 and the internal MARX mirror model as well as the model for the HETG or LETG to describe the redistribution of photons from a point source. The input parameters for the simulations used the nominal set of input parameters so that the output does not reflect any calibration uncertainties. While the MARX mirror model does not reproduce all the features contained in the more detailed SAOsac raytrace model, it does include all the important effects and for the integrated properties is an excellent description (see the MARX manual and Calibration Document TBD for more details).
