TABS - inserts blanks for tabs

TABS process

DESCRIPTION

TABS reads the list of files given as arguments, or it reads the standard input, and replaces all tabs with the correct number of blanks. The positions of the tab is taken from the environmental variable TABS. If it has only one value, it takes that value and makes the tab increment that value (defaults to 8). If environmental variable 'TEMP' is set, a temp file of that name will write out an analysis of each line

ENVIRONMENT

TABS position of the tab-stops, or if only one value the increment (default 8) TEMP Name of temp file.
