Jellyfish Lake sits in the middle of one of Palau's Rock Islands. Its brackish water is filled with jellyfish which have been isolated there so long that they've lost their ability to sting. They live off the energy produced by algae which inhabit their bodies.

Some of these images are pairs, one with natural color and a second "enhanced" image which shows more detail. PhotoShop was used to maximize contrast in the enhanced images.
